Wake Up Winnipeg started in June of 2009 after having originally been conceived from The Aimless & Andy Show which aired on UMFM 101.5 FM in Winnipeg. Our mission is to wake our listeners up to local news, events and stories of interest.

New episodes of our program air on Friday evenings at 6:00pm (CST) on 101.5 FM in Winnipeg or online at http://umfm.com. MTS TV subscribers can also tune in via their televisions on MTS TV Channel 718. Our show also repeats on Wednesday mornings at 6:30 AM.

UMFM 101.5 FM is Winnipeg's "Hit Free" music station based out of the University of Manitoba.

Currently, UMFM transmits its signal atop the Richardson Building in the heart of Winnipeg's Downtown centre with a frequency of 101.5 FM (Channel 268A).
