In Studio Sessions

The Aimless & Andy sessions were created in 2009 as a means of introducing artists of all level to our audiences.

In a typical Aimless & Andy Session we will record 2 to 3 singles with an artist or band in our state of the art live studio and then conduct a one on one interview post recording which is then used in the mastered broadcast.

Of the songs recorded, artists have the opportunity to select the single they would like to broadcast on UMFM 101.5 and the Aimless & Andy / Wake Up Winnipeg radio shows at which point (if agreed upon) a portion interview is added to the single and released in iTunes.

Artists will also have the opportunity to freely distribute the songs on their associated websites and social networks provided proper credit is given to the recording producer and the recording studio.

Each band will also have their opportunity for photography during the recording which is provided by Andru Valpy Photography and can be used as a promotional tool for the in studio recording.
